Invisible Cities: Tamara
Tamara is a city that is fake and hides behind herself. She is always watching and will never let you find out who she truly is.
The concept for this piece is to create a city that is hiding behind a newspaper as a sort of armor or skin. The city is like a planet where its visitors go around every corner yet discover nothing new.
I chose to use stop motion in this piece due that I wanted to create a piece that was somewhat eerie but with a bit of whimsy. The video camera layout is there to make the audience feel like they are watching an old recording of a visitor talking about their visit to the city of Tamara.
